Getting friends to help out with Mafia Wars Secret Stash
Some of you guys may know that when you win a fight, you will have the likelihood to see is "Secret Stash" thingy.
So what is it?
No more random loot drops from the Mafia Wars Fight.
So what you need to do is post that up, get your friends to click on secret stash link on the wall and both you and your friend will get some pieces of loots.
You may have to spam their walls if you want that Mafia Wars Secret Stash loot. My say is balance them out. If you don't want to spam your friends with your Mafia Wars posting, then don't. After all you can buy those loots from the store using Cash =P
Anyone prefers the old system? I still prefer the loot without spamming-old system. Imagine you have 501 Mafias ._. clicking all of their secret stash links are crazy!

Have you visited Mafia Wars Marketplace?
If you click on Marketplace link you would notice that the Godfather store has become flash based.
The layout is neatly organized and pretty much only minor changes like buying different types of boost and considerable variety of special edition loot items.
Side note: If anyone notice the image of stolen police car has been changed. From a 1930's Classic to Police Cruiser.

Winning Mafia Wars Fights the Easy Way
I've just reactive my Mafia Wars account and decided I should put up some tips to help you guys how to win Mafia Wars fights the easy way.
Even though most of the players were like 4 levels higher than me, I was able to win 85% of the fights. Why is this so? Because
What is the secret?
Find players with small mafias
Many players quitted Mafia Wars so their account were left to rot, which means they are inactive, so you can expect less mafias following them, less weapons and less stats.
Hit and Run Tactic
To prevent players from putting you to hitlist, I suggest just attack them once and find other players to attack. This could save your ass. Imagine you iced somebody and that guy put you on hitlist + getting higher leveled friends to attack you. OMG.
Spots dormant players
It's easy to spot dormant players by looking at their collectibles. If they don't have any recent collectible, well, they are probably no longer playing Mafia Wars so you could attack them safely.
Try them out and tell me what you think :)

New Function in Mafia Wars : Chop Shop
Find the new function under Properties link.
Something that you need to know for this.
Total of 10 Levels.
Each level will unlock a new car type and enables your
Chop Shop to manufacture more parts.
Cost 5 of each type of car part for each level, number to
increase by 1 per level.
Car parts are random drops from jobs and fights.
As you can guess from the car part names, to get a certain
rare car parts, you need to get them from relevant cities.
Solar Flare is can be sent as gift.
Eg.
Lvl 1: Random common car
No. of Parts required : 10
Lvl 2: Random rare car
No of Parts required: 25
Lvl 3: Tasmanian - 36 df, 36 atk
No of Parts required: 30
Lvl 4: CM Santiago R10 - 30df, 42 atk
No of Parts required: 30, 2 Cuban Car Parts

Unblock Facebook Mafia Wars Account Tips
Hi everybody,
Just now, I tried accessing my dusty Mafia Wars Account but I couldn't gain access
to it.
The error I got was this
The page you requested was not found
You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the address. Some web addresses
are case sensitive.
I THOUGHT MY MAFIA WARS A/C WAS BANNED OR HACKED!
And then I went to google search for why I can't access mafia wars. I came across
this article on Unblock Mafia Wars Acount. It sounds silly but thats what it was
written on the article. See below.
"There are many reasons why facebook or the application would want to block you.
Maybe you are violating the rules. Using multiple accounts to exploit mafia wars.
Such as a mafia wars illegal transaction, using mafia wars macros, exploiting the
hit list. Maybe your facebook got hacked or your facebook application wasn’t
secure. Or maybe you did nothing wrong and they inadvertently blocked your access.
Either way you don’t have access and you would like it. "
Sigh. So, my Mafia WArs A/C really got banned? I didn't do anything wrong to
violate the rules.... omg zzz so I keep looking for other ways to unblock my
precious account.
Then I found my answer!
HOW TO UNBLOCK YOUR MAFIA WARS ACCOUNT FAST!
Go to Privacy Setting >Applications and websites> Blocked applications
You will see Mafia Wars under that Blocked applications catergory. Click Undo.
VOILA! It's DOne!
There's nothing gotta do with me. LoL It was me who accidently blocked the
application! SO you Guys out there who are facing the problem as me, wait no more!

Mafia Wars Facebook Updates- Welcome to Cuba!

1. Choose Free Gifts to send your friends - I guess this is to encourage your friends to join Mafia Wars. In my opinion is that Mafia Wars creator can increase one stats point for every Five Friends invited =P
Cons - Mafia Wars Facebook still can't mass send gifts to friends
Clicked on it and you'll be directed to a Welcome to Cuba Page with some introduction regards the Cuba island Beta Version. Nice of Zynga to come up with a new expansion for Mafia Wars players. Sometime fresh for people like me!
Inventories, Currency, Businesses in Cuba(Properties in New York) are all reset as you're doing all your job at Cuba. If you're confused then you can click on the 'Where's my cash?' option on the top left corner. A box will appear in the middle, something like this...
But you can fly back to New York anytime. Sporting a Brown background theme and the job title start with "El" and currency with Cuban Pesos. This option is for those who have mastered certain jobs in New York. By the way, the Cuba mode is in Beta now and you can choose to rate from 1 to 5. 5 being the highest.
3. Subscribe to Email (Let me know when I get attacked)-This is for full-time Mafia Players I guess. Imagine myself getting attacked almost hourly... I'll make sure myself getting lots of mail from this lol... =P
4. Over 4 Million Users in Facebook's Mafia War - Not surprising, the more Facebook Users, the more the Mafia Wars players ;-) What matters most is that you must enjoy the game :)

Game Updates - We made a few improvements to our fighting, robbing, and hitlists.
- Players can now only attack, rob or put a hit on players within a reasonable level range
- Players can not continually add the same person to the hitlist multiple times in a row
- Each hit put out will increase the minimum bounty for the next hit, within a short period of time. The more you use the hitlist, the more expensive it will get.
- Now you can see how long until your next energy pack is available. A timer will be displayed on the home page.

New added feature :Wish list
How to go to Wish list? It’s under Inventory > Collection & Vaults(some noobs like me don't where it is at the start)
See the picture below for Wish list and Gift button... (Click to maximize)
Click on the wish list icon under the item to add into your wish list and after that you’ll find your item on your wish list, a maximum of 5 items on the wish list.

Stop being added to the hitlist and get your revenge!
1. Don't use up all of your stamina on just one player. Fight with each player once only. This can lower the chance of that player getting revenge you ;-)
2. Keep your health below 20 so that you will appear weak or iced, thus players can't attack you.
3. Recruit more mafias to make yourself stronger, buy more powerful weapons.
4. Add that player to hitlist. Oh you mean he/she is weak or iced too? Bookmark he/she's profile link by clicking on their name, then you'll their profile, yes you add that link into your bookmark. From time to time when their health has heal enough to fight, you can fight or add them to hitlist again.

Note: I don't encourage on taking revenge unless that player had constantly been attacking/robbing/hitlisting you for several times e.g. like more than 6 times and you got fed up about it. Revenge is an endless cycle xD

mafia wars addiction
Addicted to mafia wars... I keep adding energy to level up fast, ignoring my attack and defense first. Some people added me to hitlist. I died again today, but it's okie because I can add them to hitlist too :P Thats how we do it! I'm so lazy to add friends from mafia wars. So I decided to post on the walls of the mafia group, set my status to mafia invite message and wait for people to add me. Tired... signing off now...zzz

Mafia Wars online cheats codes tips | Facebook
Anyone playing Mafia Wars online @ Face book? I do. I'm addicted to it. So I wanna introduce and share some of the tips on how to recruit massive mafia in face book and how to avoid death as much as possible in mafia wars!
For those who haven't, go try out the game here.
Introduction
You start with one member (yourself) and fight with crowbar (basic weapon) and work your way up to top mafia. The more you fight, the more stamina you use up and as well as the health points! The more job you work, the more the energy point you use up. You can buy properties and rent it out or set up a tourist attraction but be careful because your properties may get robbed or worst being put out of business. Like the picture below...
Basic Navigation
Jobs- To earn experience and money. Some jobs require certain items, properties, or mafia size to complete. New jobs become available as you progress through the game by completing jobs, earning cash and expanding your mafia size. Use that cash to buy the tools you need to perform bigger and better jobs for a bigger payoff. Some times there will be bosses in the job section, so you can try beat them and get rewards ^^
Fight- Remember to have full health before you go to fight because you'll never know when you being beaten to death. You need your health to stay alive in fights and to avoid getting knocked down from a sucker punch. You can earn cash and experience by picking fights as well :)Jobs- To earn experience and money. Hit List- Don't like a player? Put him/her to hitlist! Then after awhile somebody would claim bounty from you. It usually take less than a minutes for my bounty to be claimed by others ^^ Find out who’s got a bounty on their head, and make sure you’re not one of them! You can be a hitman too and claim the rewards but it is on first-come-first-served basis though.
Properties - Generate income for you every hour after deducting your upkeep. This helps you to earn income without energy used. Great for low levels but as your level increase it is not so significant income anymore. Most of your income would likely come from your jobs. I recommend Mafia Mike. It is a good investment ^^
Bank- Safe guard your cash at the bank, you need to pay 10% laundering. I would usually deposit $$ after getting my income. It is a safe measure ^^

Keep your health low, so that players can't fight you because you're weak or iced.

Buy weapons from limited edition loots. It's often cheap and good! Buy weapons which require no upkeep to keep your expenses low.

If your friend (Friends you just added from the big mafia group) you add doesn't have the invite status message. Try replacing the zero with their id from this "http://apps.facebook.com/inthemafia/status_invite.php?from=00000000"
Get your friend id by visiting their profile, copy the digits after the id=
Eg. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1497529999
copy 1497599999 and paste to this http://apps.facebook.com/inthemafia/status_invite.php?from=1497599999
in your browser and enter! There you go, you've added your friend in mafia wars.

Too many mafia friends in your friend list? You can remove all of them after adding them in mafia wars. It's fine. I've tried it :)
Edited: You can create a friend list and collate all the mafia friends into that list. I think that would be neat and I notice if your mafia friend is not in your friend list, you can't help them when they request for help out. So this way will solve the problem!
